When you need a short-term place to stay, the first step is to clarify your needs to avoid unnecessary costs. Instead of picking an apartment at random, look at your schedule. Do you need a place to rest for a few hours before a flight, or a comfortable space for a business trip lasting several days? At AOM Home, we offer clearly defined packages by the hour, overnight, or by the day to make your choice easier.
Additionally, the number of people traveling with you determines the space you require. For instance, an apartment for a maximum of 2 people is different from one that accommodates 4 guests. Do not attempt to exceed the specified number of occupants, as this directly affects comfort and violates the building's safety regulations.
Essential information before booking
Examine the price list carefully before paying. Rental rates are usually split into packages, but check for any additional fees. Example: An apartment may have a listed price of 850,000 VND/day (check-in 14:00, check-out 12:00), but if you choose an hourly package, the price is 420,000 VND for the first 2 hours, plus 50,000 VND for each subsequent hour. Understanding this calculation helps you manage your budget better.
Check-in and check-out times are also important. If you arrive early or check out late, please discuss this in advance rather than changing plans on your own, to avoid avoidable penalties caused by disrupting the cleaning schedule.
Registration and security
Even for short-term stays, providing identification is mandatory. This is not only for the host to complete mandatory temporary residence declarations under the Law on Residence, but also to ensure your own security. Please have your ID card or passport ready upon check-in.
Building rules
Apartment complexes always have general rules to maintain quiet. You must be particularly mindful of keeping noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM the next morning. Singing karaoke or playing loud music during these hours will surely disturb neighbors and lead to warnings from building management.
Additionally, always be responsible for your keys, key cards, and door passcodes. Never disclose this information to strangers. Regarding fire safety, never alter the electrical system or use high-power appliances without permission. Electric vehicle charging must be done only in designated areas; do not charge overnight unattended.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy
Plans can change, but be sure to understand the host's cancellation policy. With AOM Home, your booking is only confirmed once you have paid in full. If you need to cancel, do so at least 12 hours before check-in for a 100% refund. If canceled later, you will not be refunded. If you need to change dates, you can do so through the system at least 6 hours before check-in.
